Getting started

Create an account with your email address or Google. Confirm your email using the link we send you.
You start in a personal workspace on the Free plan. Start a 14-day Professional or Team trial from Billing at any time — no card needed.
Choose New project, or upload an existing .msdz project file. Projects open in the MSD tool and save back to the cloud.

Cloud projects

Autosave stores your work every few minutes while you design; Save creates a named version.
Versions lists earlier saves. Restoring a version creates a new version, so nothing is lost. How far back you can go depends on your plan.
Conflicts: if a colleague saved the project since you opened it, MSD will not overwrite their work — it asks you to save a copy instead.
Trash keeps deleted projects for 30 days before they are removed permanently.
Download gives you the .msdz project file, which opens in local-file mode with no account.

Teams and roles

Role	Can do
Viewer	Open projects and download exports; cannot change anything.
Designer	Create, edit, rename, move and delete projects and folders.
Admin	Everything a designer can, plus invite and remove members, change their roles and grant support access.
Owner	Everything, plus manage the plan and billing and delete the workspace.

Plans and billing

The workspace owner changes the plan from Billing. Upgrades apply immediately. There is no contract: cancel anytime in your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for; part-used periods are not refunded, except where the law requires. If a payment fails you keep full access for 14 days; then the workspace is read-only until payment succeeds. No VAT is charged — Mastermind Security Solutions Ltd is not VAT registered.

Security

Turn on two-factor sign-in (an authenticator app) in Account → Security. Keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.
See and sign out other devices from Account → Sessions.
Single sign-on: you can sign in with Microsoft (work or school accounts in Microsoft Entra ID, and personal Microsoft accounts) or Google (including Google Workspace accounts), instead of a password. To create an account this way, start from Create account and accept the Terms first. If you already have an account with the same email address, confirm that address first; the sign-in is then linked to it. For a work account, Microsoft must confirm that your organisation has verified its email domain. If it hasn't, ask your IT administrator, or use email and password instead.
MSD staff cannot open your projects. If you need help with a specific project, grant support access from the workspace settings; it expires after 72 hours, and you can see every access in the workspace audit log.

Your data

Export: Account → Export my data downloads a zip of your profile and every project you own.
Delete: Account → Delete account removes your account and the workspaces you own, after you confirm with your password.
Local-file mode: the MSD tool can still be used with project files on your own computer.
